Parent and Community Involvement

Parents and guardians of Head Start children are encouraged to participate in the program in a variety of ways, from little acts like donating a needed item to a Head Start classroom to more involved acts like serving on Policy Council.

Parent Groups

Each class has their own Parent Group which is made up of parents of children in the program. The Parent Group will meet once each month. Health Advisory Board

The Health Advisory Board meets twice a year to discuss matters of health and safety with our Head Start health aides, community health professionals, and parents.
